I bought each kid their own mason jar at the 99cent store and they enjoyed putting everything into their own jar for an easy school day breakfast. I partnered with DoleSunshine to create this yummy overnight oats combo. This combo is full of plant based protein, zinc to think, omega-3 (critical for brain development), calcium (Chia seeds are full of calcium. There are 233 milligrams in a 3-tablespoon serving, which is almost the same amount of calcium as found in 1 cup of milk!), and iron. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
RECIPE (serving 1)
1/3 cup oats
2/3 cups almond milk
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
2 tbsp DoleSunshine crushed Pineapple
2 tbsp shredded carrots
Dash of cinnamon

When you mix together the rolled oats, chia seeds, and almond milk the chia seeds absorb the milk and the oats soften, creating an effortless chilled porridge. Bonus if you are running late for school drop-off this is an easy in the car breakfast.
