Food Rhythm
As we approach the end of September we are comfortably settling back into school life. As our kids enter a routine, I believe food rhythms help tremendously in empowering your child with familiarity and bringing calmness to their week. In our house we eat oatmeal Monday – Thursday. Friday is SMOOTHIES signifying it’s the end of the week! Saturday and Sunday was bake, think pancakes and/or waffles.

I partnered with Dole Packaged Foods ☀️ to bring you this smoothie recipe. My son Sage (almost 5) independently put this recipe together (with blender supervision). Sage’s smoothie was loved by all, Olive even coming back for seconds.

- Spinach
- 1 Ripe Banana
- Frozen Strawberries
- Frozen Mango
- Frozen Pineapple
- Frozen Coconut
- Hemp Seeds
- Coconut Water
Try this smoothie and tell me your kids don’t love it. Also give a weekly food rhythm a go… It honestly helps each week run smoothly, and better yet takes the guess work out of meal planning!
