Quick EO safety tip: When using Topically, it is always best to dilute for little ones, the elderly or people with sensitive and fair skin. I recommend the great high quality FCO (Fractionated Cocounut Oil) you can get wholesale right in your doterra shopping area or in a pinch Jojoba oil or a high quality Olive oil to dilute the oils with when putting on the skin.

Ever enjoyed something so packed with flavor you just wanted to savor it? Well when it takes 26 lemons to make a 15ml bottle of lemon oil, trust me when I say the flavors from essential oils do amazing things for your food, smoothies, drinks and just make things more fun. Who doesn’t want more fun in their life? Sign me up, right? It is simple, include your kids, let them create and enjoy working toward their own healthy food choices! Bringing the family back together for food prep and meal times, oils have helped us in so many ways.

DIY Motherhood

Motherhood is easier some days and others maybe not. Make those playdates fun for all, bring some fresh ideas that smell divine to the craft time and the kids will love joining in. Honestly so will the other moms! Try some of our favorite DIY’s and let us know how you are loving your oils. We have worked to develop some great morning and evening routines with oils, the kids are loving their extra attention as we prepare and end our days, and I love it too!

2. Preparing for colder weather? How about a healthy option that kids love, make aromatherapy playdough!!!

Fitness and Oils

Think essential oils don’t have a place in your workouts? If you are a mom starting your fitness journey all the way to an amazing athlete, essential oils can support you along the way.

And don’t forget about recovery, it is one of my favorite parts. Whether it is an amaing oil infused smoothie or just a great citrus oil like (Lemon or Tangerine) in my water (remember to use a stainless steel or glass bottle for citrus) I love oils for fitness and recovery.

2. Use Deep Blue (click for education) perfect for a soothing massage after a long day of house work or a workout.

3. Put a few drops of Serenity (click to learn more) essential oil into a nice bath after a workout or long mom day for a relaxing evening you deserve.

4. Use Lemon essential oil to support healthy daily detox. A few drops in warm water or in your water bottle after a workout (be sure it is a stainless steel or glass water bottle)!
